School mission Connecticut College is a highly selective residential liberal arts college particularly known for interdisciplinary studies, international programs, funded internships, strong student-faculty relationships, and service learning. Founded in 1911, the College has an enrollment of about 1,900 men and women representing 41 states, the District of Columbia, and 71 countries.
